Recent changes in federal law require new procedures
to be followed before clients are accepted for training
in turbo-jet aircraft. Please review the information
contained on this page to ensure you have met the
requirements for training before arriving at the Training Center.
Flight Training for U.S. Citizens
To comply with TSA regulations, the PrestoSIM Grapevine
Training Center requires all clients who will utilize
simulators while attending training to adhere to the
following policies:
- All arriving clients who are citizens of
the United States must bring with them:
(1) Evidence of U.S. Citizenship in the form of:
(a) a valid U.S. passport; or
(b) an original birth certificate and government
issued photo identification
such as a driver's license
(2) pilot logbook
- After verifying eligibility to receive training
under TSA rules, a PrestoSIM staff member will endorse
the client's logbook as required by the TSA certifying
the client's eligibility to receive simulator training.

Before arriving at the training center, clients who are not U.S. citizens are required to obtain prior approval from the United States Transportation Security Administration.
